Kristian E. Willis has over 20 years of military service working in varied fields from Military Intelligence, Aviation Maintenance to Medical Evacuation as well as Regulatory Compliance. Kristian received a B.S. in Biology from State University of New York in 1995. He is currently enrolled and scheduled to complete his Masters in Environmental Policy and Management from the American Military University in Charleston, West Virginia 2010.
Kristian’s military career began in 1986 as a Crypto logic Technician (Interpretive) specializing in Hebrew in the US Navy. After being commissioned in the U.S. Army, Kristian was selected to attend flight training to become a MEDEVAC pilot. From 1995 to 2004 he served as a day/night/NVG MEDEVAC and maintenance Test Pilot in Germany, the Balkans, Korea, Iraq and CONUS.
Kristian’s recent operational tour was as the 1st Armored Division’s Deputy Division Surgeon planning and directing medical operations in Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, and Germany. The capstone of his career was performing duties as the Iraq Multi-National Division – North Deputy Division Surgeon where he provided executive level medical operations guidance for over 25,000 U.S. service members and the citizens of Northern Iraq.
Kristian has earned a Bronze Star and Meritorious Service Medal along with Senior Aviator badge, Naval Aircrewman badge, Air Assault badge and Parachutist badge.
